The Edge of Always (The Edge of Never, #2)
J.A. Redmerski

Seize Me (Breakneck, #1)

Seize Me (Breakneck, #1) - Crystal Spears 3 WTF did I just read stars! I just didn't like Braxxon. I'm sure he was a very realistic representation of a biker but still.

Me + Bikers= love/hate.
I love you I hate you photo: I love and hate you Iloveandhateyou.gif

He was not for me. Any time you can start off an announcement with "Brothers, friends and whores..." For real??!!

The nicknames were just awful and some of them were pretty nasty! On a positive note, Winter has more balls then the whole club combined. They should make her MC Prez...seriously! Braxxon just wasn't very sharp when it came to what was going on around him to be an effective Prez! He made a lot of rookie mistakes! Breakneck wouldn't even stand a chance against Hell's Horseman (Deuces MC) or even Chaos (Tack's MC)! In the end, Winter was just as messed up as Brax so they belonged together. I'll still follow the series because I've learned that there can be improvement. For example I hated Deuce and I'm in totally in love with Ripper... we'll see...

Axel (Corps Security, #1)

Axel (Corps Security, #1) - Harper Sloan 4.5 stars!! Wow, I really liked it, a lot more than I was expecting. I believed the story and the connection between Izzy and Axel. HOT doesn't even begin to describe their relationship. More like combustible! I am going to go so far as to say the writing style was...wait for it...Kristen Ashley-ish!! (Gasp) Yes, I said it! Though it definitely was not in a copy cat/ imposter kind of way. It was respectable enough to stand alone and I dug it! NOTE: As a devoted KA fan this compliment is not given lightly!! Harper Sloan has managed to create her own world of my favorite type of sexy as hell, fist-pounding-on-tight-muscular-chest, territory marking, caveman Alphas and I can't wait to fall in love with them all! Were there some parts that weren't perfect- Yes, but but who cares!! Overall a great debut novel! Rock on Harper!
Harbour Falls - S.R. Grey This book made me remember how much I enjoy reading murder mysteries. All of the details and clues were so good! I felt like I could see it all in my head. S.R. Grey created the right amount of suspicion and for a while everyone was a believable suspect, even the H, Adam! I also love that I'm still not sure if he's completely innocent of all wrong doing! Well Done! My only hold up is for my taste I wanted there to be more steam and a stronger emotional connection between Adam and Maddy! It would have put it over the top for IMO. I love the moment when two people fall in love but for them I didn't feel it, but loved the story anyway!

I still want more mystery so I will be checking out book 2 very soon!

Rachel (Songs of Submission, #5.5)

Rachel (Songs of Submission, #5.5) - C.D. Reiss Oh wow! Best yet of the SOD's!!!

Never Have I Ever

Never Have I Ever - August Clearwing 4.5 stars. This was a unique story. Not at all what I thought it would be going into it. A good basic intro "the lifestyle" without it getting too over the top showy and there were some "new" things that I had never read before! It really was it's own story but along the same lines as FSoG, Up in the Air, etc...but these characters & their story were unique enough to stand apart. Noah was a strong Alpha without being possessive and crazy, he didn't have to be because Piper would have done anything he asked. To her credit, Piper wasn't a dense girl who played games. She knew what she wanted and was a very good student ;)

My only complaint was that some of the details got lost at the end, their was a build up of events that finally caused an explosion but some of the pieces never fell back down. I felt like I was missing something, it sort of fizzed. Overall I still enjoyed it!

Continental Breakfast (Continental Affair, #1)

Continental Breakfast (Continental Affair, #1) - Ella Dominguez That was actually pretty good for what it was. Sort of an outrageous plot that you have to just go with but I liked it! Quick hot read!

Beneath This Man (This Man, #2)

Beneath This Man (This Man, #2) - Jodi Ellen Malpas And so the craziness continues...this time Ava was better equipped at handling Jesse. We finally learn more about him but I was shocked at how deep his issues were and his methods for dealing with them. Jesse gave me whip lash! He quickly bounced between sexy and seductive to crazy and irrational followed by broken and self destructive. "Laid back guy" my ass! More like a sneaky and manipulative sex god! We'll see how things play out for them in book 3. I'm hoping Jesse sheds the bad people in his life and the Manor for a clean shot at life with Ava.

This Man (This Man, #1)

This Man - Jodi Ellen Malpas

5 stars. I went into this knowing it would be a hit or miss. This was definitely a HIT for me! Maybe the timing was right because I really enjoyed it. Jesse, Jesse, Jesse! Wow. You drive me crazy but I love it. Man, he is Hot Hot Hot! He's still a mystery and I can't wait to figure him out!

Killing Sarai (Killing Sarai, #1)

Killing Sarai (Killing Sarai, #1) - J.A. Redmerski 4.5 stars! It wasn't what I was expecting and I'm so glad. People have been comparing it to the Captive in the Dark series and On Every Street. Eh, maybe there are bits that will remind you of those books but this is a different story entirely. It almost has a True Lies sort of vibe without the comedy. J.A. Redmerski has set up an outline for a kickass series. This book is only a taste of Victor and Sarai's world and I expect the next book to explode! Sarai is going to rock if J.A. is taking her into the direction I want her too! The only reason it's not a full 5 star is because I wanted more and I felt it ended just as things were getting good!

Against Her Will

Against Her Will - Carolyn Faulkner Uh...?? I read this a while back but just got around to rating it. I thought I would be able to think of a way to review this but...I still got nothing.

In the beginning I was so angry with Cassandra for being evil and spoiled...

Then I felt like Yeah Karma's bitch...

mad photo: 15me0sk.gif

Then I sort of started to feel bad for her...

And by the end I was like...

Not even she deserved that I guess. Now I have to go scrub my brain...

Bully (Fall Away, #1)

Bully (Fall Away, #1) - Penelope Douglas 4.9999 stars, almost 5 stars. I really sunk my teeth into the angsty, mean spirited, cold blooded pettiness involved in this story! I felt the need to comment almost constantly during the end. Really well thought out! I only wished she could have been sharper on his reasons for targeting Tate. I mean I get it but I wanted it all to snap into place a little more. Otherwise, well done! I'm a fan of Penelope Douglas now.
Six Naughty Nights - Serenity Woods 4.5 stars. That was actually a really good story! Another case of a cover not doing the book any justice. Yes it was hot and sexy but there was so much more! Wow, Toby was the sweetheart type of a guy that we usually see get dumped for the bad boy except this time he gets the girl and oh my was he sexy! YAY! My book slump is over!

Seven Sexy Sins (Love in Reverse, #1)

Seven Sexy Sins (Love in Reverse, #1) - Serenity Woods 4.5 stars! Another very deceiving cover! I enjoyed this one just as much as book 2. I loved this great group of friends. Their interactions kind of reminded me of the show Friends except only this was a lot hotter. A fun and very very sexy read!

Stranded with a Scotsman

Stranded with a Scotsman - Serenity Woods Aww that was too short and very sweet! I really wanted their story to continue.
Entangled - Annie Brewer

2 stars with love...Maybe I'm not in the right target audience for this book. Taking into consideration that this is an ARC, there is a lot of editing that still needs to be done. The author should consider cutting some of the content because I think it will give the story more focus. Also the characters could use a little more development. Noah seemed more like a teenage boy than a 25 year old man. Maddy was filled with anger and angst but I didn't understand why until late in the story. I enjoyed the second half more than the first. I get where she was going with her story. A great concept that needs a little more work. I think Annie has a unique style that will only get better with practice. *hugs*

Kidnapped for Christmas - Evangeline Anderson A solid 4 star. I loved the concept! It made me want to search for places near me that provided this service!! LOL! The beginning started of believable but then the last couple of chapters got a little cheesy. Overall I liked it! A quick, hot and fun read! I still think it's crazy that I would consider this sort of content fun but it was!
